The Mission of CGPU is to provide adequate training and guidance to students on career related matters and assist them for exploring the opportunities in the job market and to fulfill the vision of NCECT.
Career Guidance & Placement Unit strives in enhance student's placement on the job market and also offers a wide range of services for the students. Job opportunities are multiplying rapidly and at the same the market is getting acutely competitive. Companies/Organizations are visiting our campus every year, in search of superior talented students. The concept of Career Guidance & Placement has become integral part of the present day ethos and is reflected in the expansion of its domain to auxiliary functions like pre-employment training, Institute industry linkage, updating knowledge etc. Career Guidance & Placement Unit facilitates the dissemination of information about employment/higher education opportunities. Placement talks and campus interviews are also arranged for the students. Career Guidance & Placement Unit has been able to secure coveted jobs in multinational companies and Governmental agencies for a large number of students.
At Career Guidance & Placement Unit we are able to assist students in their career planning and providing information about the trends in job market at present.
CGPU Activities
• To give training and guidance to students on career related matters and assist them in exploring new opportunities.
• To invite companies/organizations for campus interviews and provide them necessary facilities for conducting written test, Group discussion, Technical and HR interview etc.
• To arrange industrial visit and training for final year and pre-final year students.
• To organize various types and levels of training programmes like mock interviews, Group discussions, exammes like mock interviews, Group discussions, experience sharing by eminent personalities, business communication skills and conduct model tests for various types of aptitude tests.
• To display various job advertisement coming in employment news, opportunities and career columns in leading news papers.
• A reading cum seminar hall is maintained by our unit, which provides the following facilities:-
- Brochures and journals of various industries and their products.
- Information brochures of Indian and Foreign Universities.
- Detailed pamphlets about IAS, IES, GATE, TOFEL, GRE, CAT, GMAT, IELTS etc.
Training
Our students are in good demand since they exhibit superior technical
and knowledge competencies. However many of them miss good
opportunities. To remedy this situation we are offering an opportunity
to our students to get trained by experienced trainer, who have track
record of having assisted hundreds of students, to get placed in
leading Corporates in India and abroad.
The proposed basic training consists of the following modules and for a
maximum of 50 hours duration. Timing will be based on the conveniences
of different batches/groups and as a part of the time-table.

- Training for group works and team effectiveness
- Training for Communicative English / Developing Business Communication skills
- Training on Personality Development.

The career Guidance & placement unit is actively functioning
by executing Training and placement activities. We have obtained
the services of Malayala Manorama and its HR Consultants.
From among our faculty senior persons like Dr.K.Raghavan Nambiar,
Director Academic & Advisor, Dr. PN Ramachandran, principal and
Prof .A.K.Saha, Dean, Corporate Relations also have given sufficient
inputs in personality development. Topics of facing interviews and
attending group discussions were also included. Ninety three students
of first batch were placed in various blue-chip companies in India and
abroad
In the present batch 97 students obtained their dream jobs or core
jobs. All students who scored more than 60% marks got placement in
